The Visiting Chef program is a wildly popular volunteer program for groups of up to four friends, family members, or co-workers. No professional cooking experience is required and folks have lots of fun. Volunteers provide all the ingredients to make a home-cooked meal or you may cater in from a restaurant for our families (approximately 50 servings). Volunteers will need to arrive in time to prepare their meal in accordance with our meal times.
- We serve dinner at 6PM seven days a week.
- We serve breakfast at 9AM on Saturday and Sunday.
Please view our Visiting Chef Guidelines for more information. If you have any questions, please call Emily Pridgen, Director of House Operations & Programs at 352.374.4404 ext. 222 or email epridgen@rmhcncf.org. Preferred Dinner Partner If you and your group would like to participate in our Visiting Chef Dinner Program, but simply don't have time to cook, please call one of our Preferred Dinner Partners to have dinner catered in to our families.
