Apply NowThe Visiting Chef program is a wildly popular volunteer program for groups of four friends, family members, or co-workers. No professional cooking experience is required, and folks have lots of fun. Volunteers provide all the ingredients to make a home-cooked meal, or you may cater in from a restaurant for our families (approximately 50 servings). Volunteers will need to arrive in time to prepare their meals following our meal times.
Here is a sure-fire way to cheer up our families! Groups of five or fewer bake or make comfort foods using our kitchen and bake-ware. All you need to bring are the ingredients! Whether you organize a community-wide effort or designate a jar in your kitchen for tabs, pop tabs add up to real money for our House. Last year, we raised over $900 just from our Pop Tab Program! You can drop off your pop tabs at our House anytime to have them weighed and recycled.
